As the vibrant season of autumn begins, Project Yantrikta embarked on its first fall session with a new batch of eager young minds. The aroma of freshly sharpened pencils and the hum of excited voices filled the air. However, this time, our weekly sessions paused briefly to celebrate Dussehra.

The first autumn session was nothing short of intriguing. With a group of enthusiastic students by our side, we delved into the world of robotics. Together, we began constructing their robots, a task that took a solid hour of focus and dedication. It was an interesting session, to say the least.

We also took a moment to recap sensors, an essential element in the world of robotics. These sensors allow them to interact with their environment. Understanding sensors is crucial for building robots capable of perceiving the world around them.

In addition to the physical aspect of robotics, we examined the digital realm. We delved into the fascinating worlds of binary and hexadecimal numbering systems. Navigating the difference between binary and decimal (denary) systems can be perplexing, but these young minds took to it with enthusiasm.

Emphasizing the importance of stability, the students faced a unique challenge. With no castor ball available, they had to improvise. They were encouraged to think freely and out of the box. The result? A third wheel, added with creativity and innovation. This simple yet significant task taught them the power of adaptation and problem-solving – skills that go beyond robotics and apply to life.

Our journey has just begun. In the upcoming sessions, we plan to build upon the knowledge gained from this day. The young builders will be introduced to more advanced building techniques, such as using gears, pulleys, and levers. They will discover how these mechanisms can enhance their robots' capabilities, unlocking new possibilities in their creations.

Robot Race: Putting Their Skills to the Test

The pinnacle of our fall sessions will be the Robot Race. In this exciting challenge, students' robots will compete in a predefined race, emphasizing speed, precision, and problem-solving. The race will be a test of the skills they've acquired in previous sessions.
